For the first time ever, my pal Christian Hudson of The Social Man will be visiting me (David Tian, aka., Dr. Asian Rake) in Singapore in mid-November.

Tune your radios to 938 Live for Will X’s show, The Hot Seat! I’m honored to be interviewed in The Hot Seat by one of Singapore’s best radio hosts, Will X. This will be aired on Tuesday, November 1, 7-8 PM. It will be repeated from 1-2 PM on Saturday and 9-10 PM on Sunday.
“The hottest thing about Mr. X’s new radio show will be the guests themselves. He promises to throw the covers off newsmakers, opinion makers, even homemakers!”
I’m supposed to bring along four of my favorite songs, which they’ll play during the interview.
Whenever I do radio shows, I’m usually a little apprehensive that my Canadian accent will emphasize my “foreignness” to Singaporeans.

There was also a front-page blurb near the top of the cover saying, “DATING ACADEMIES: If love is a battlefield, here’s how some men train up.”
I’ve enlarged the scans so that the words are readable in this blog.
Overall, a balanced article, I only take issue with two points.
1. It says “Singapore’s newest men’s dating coach.” Hmm, I’ve been coaching longer than any one else in Singapore besides my friend Skilldo. I’ve been coaching since 2007 and coaching in Singapore since August 2008. I think they wrote that because they did an expose back in 2010 on a few of the local dating coaches, and I declined to be interviewed (because of pressure from my former employer–the naitonal university–to lay low), so maybe to The Straits Times, I’m “new,” haha.
2. Our classrooms are state-of-the-art with a stage, podium, projector screens, projectors, and a full sound system built into the walls. Ah, well, words like “large” and “small” are relative.
Overall, a fair article.

The usual disclaimer: Reports can be good learning tools because we can learn a lot from the past. These reports can help beginners get inside the mindsets and attitudes of successful daters. You also get a look at some of the techniques and strategies that have worked for others. In short, LRs are good ‘case studies’ in the dating arts.

I know that some “pick up” companies use real photos, often without the girls’ permission (some of my female friends have been exploited this way). HOT BABE IN FINANCE AT THE NIGHTCLUB: CLIENT REPORT (LR) BY CRUSADER
This report is about a beautiful girl I met at Zouk. My buddy (Etalage) and I entered the venue and quickly posted ourselves at the bar, we noticed the majority of turnout were girls. AWESOME NIGHT!
Keys to success:
- Escalating quickly,
- Maintaining Believability,
- Good follow up on SMS.
Saw this group of three girls in which the classier looking one gave me eye contact across the bar. After the third time, I concluded that she must be begging me to approach her, ha. I went up with a very simple “Hi” and quickly the two other girls warmed up to us. Let’s call the three girls “Gatekeeper,” “Valentine”, and “Kiss.” The classy looking girl and the gatekeeper (which I failed to identify) is Gatekeeper while my target would be either Valentine, Kiss or both! Kiss excused herself to the toilet.
I fluffed and flirted with Valentine who told me it was Chinese Valentine’s Day and gave me a peck on the cheek. Soon we locked and bit lips. Kiss appeared and I told her that I never knew about Chinese Valentine’s Day, I told her I’m really happy to meet her on such a special occasion, gave her a kiss, which she returned. All this went down while my left arm was holding onto Valentine’s waist.
I asked how they knew each other. They were ex-colleagues in the same bank and showed me their friendship band.
Me: “I am impressed by how you girls maintain this close friendship; it’s very meaningful”.
It was natural that I held Kiss’s waist as well when I talked to her as the club was so noisy. At this time I really look like a player, french kissing one girl after the other and they liked it!
I decided to choose Kiss. Between Kiss and Valentine, Kiss had been more spontaneous and kept initiating the kisses. She became my ‘girlfriend’ for the night. Read more
